Bake them a cake!
What’s a birthday without a cake, right? Bake them a cake they would love to gobble up. Here’s an easy recipe -
For your doggos
Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Cake
Fair warning: You might get tempted to try this cake too!
Ingredients:
1 cup oat flour
1 cup pumpkin puree
¼ cup pet-friendly peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
Frosting:
½ cup non-fat yogurt
¼ cup pet-friendly peanut butter
Directions -
- Preheat oven to 350℉ / 177℃.
- Mix pumpkin puree, peanut butter, eggs, and honey together. Then add oat flour and baking powder to it.
- Grease the tin with coconut oil and fill with batter. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the center is firm.
- For the frosting- mix the yogurt and peanut butter together. Once the cake has cooled down, frost and decorate with dog biscuits. Congratulations! Your delish doggo cake is ready!
For your cattos
Fish Cake but nothing is fishy about it.
Ingredients:
- Ground fish (without bones) / fish powder- 50-60 gms
- Shredded cheese- 25-30 gms
- Whole wheat flour- 150 gms
- An egg
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350℉ / 177℃.
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Fill the batter in a pan greased with coconut oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Make your pets happy by spending some extra time with them with some fun games.
Tug of war for your doggo and their friends
If you’re a dog parent you know how much your dog loves to play tug of war! Here’s how you can play it with their friends -
Make teams. Two doggos tug over one rope. The doggo who manages to get the rope wins! The team with the most winners gets extra treats as a prize!
Chase the frisbee
If you have some extra open space, this is an amazing game to play with your dog and his/her friends! Gather all the dogs and throw the frisbee! Let the dogs chase & have a gala time because there are no losers in this game!
Chase the ‘prey” for cats
Cats are natural hunters. They love to be sneaky and attack their prey. So for their birthday, get them a new toy that stimulates their interest. Get a stick toy that has a string and a mouse attached to it. You can even stuff catnip if the toy has an empty crevice.

Host a pet birthday party! Call some of your pet’s friends and their pet parents over, serve them some cake and treats, play games and make pet goodie bags with toys and treats.
